Hello and welcome to my new blog. I decided to start this blog after running websites and successfully making money online for nearly a year now. At this point I am by no means an expert on the subject and am still learning everyday but I have been successful enough that I know the basics and want to help get the word out about the real way to make money online.
For the past few years I was interested in learning how to make money online but I was never able to find any real information about how to do it. All I could find was people telling me that I needed to buy this or that to make money online and it never seemed to add up. I always thought... "If these people really know how to make money online then why do they need to sell me dumb products about how to make money online?" Nearly all Internet marketers are quick to talk about how they have developed a system to make money online with any website but then they aren't willing to tell anybody how without making a buck off of them. The truth though is that if they really where making tons of money with websites then they wouldn't be wasting their time trying to make a few dollars off of you buy selling you a worthless ebook or some other piece of crap that they claim will allow you to make money online.
In my quest to make money online I thought over and over again about how I could do it. I knew that if somehow I could figure out how to get visitors to a website, any website, then I could make money and a lot of it. There was just one problem though, I didn't know how to get visitors to my website and nobody in the IM world seemed to want to tell me how. Then I found out that the reason all the A-List bloggers didn't want to give away their secrets was because they didn't have any. They are busy selling crap to their readers and selling themselves out in order to make their money online.
At this point I didn't know what to do. I felt hopeless and helpless so I turned toward the best selling Adsense Code by Joel Comm. I was sure that this best selling book that was endorsed by thousands would unveil the true secrets about making mone online but sure enough it was a piece of crap just like everything from the A-Listers. It didn't tell me how to make money online, optimize my website for the AdSense bot, or even how to get the best paying ads from AdSense. All that it did was tell me how that I should blend my AdSense ads in with my site content. Uh yeah... great info if you already have thousands of visitors everyday but completely worthless if you don't have a clue of how to get people to your site to begin with.
I was about to graduate from college and join the real workforce but my dream had always been to find a way to make money online and avoid the standard 9-5 job. Yes, its true I hadn't pursued making money online as much as I should have (I didn't know this it at the time but I later found out if you search hard enough there actually is some sound make money online advice on the web) but then a string of a few bad investments and the tanking stock market put me in a situation where I needed money. School was also wrapping up for good and I found myself with extra time.
At this point I decided I was gonna search the Internet until I found out how a beginner like me could make money online. I was sure I was going to spend hours researching before I found any useful information but with my first google search for the term "how to make money online" I found Griz's make money online blog and I have been rolling ever since. I owe a huge portion of my success to Griz for getting me started down the right path. I do consider myself to be pretty innovative and I think outside the box quite a bit in order to be successful in making money online but Griz got me started. Without a push in the right direction from him I would be working the usual 9-5/40 hour a week and I would be making less money than I am now while only working 25 hours a week.
Don't get me wrong making money online isn't easy, it doesn't come quickly, and it isn't for everyone but I guarantee that if you are willing to take the time to write quality content and practice sound SEO techniques then within several months to a year the traffic will begin to pour in and you will start making money online. Not everyone will be as successful and me and some will be way more successful than me. The key to your success will be in the SEO techniques that I will be discussing here at my blog. Without them you will not stand a chance at making money online because without them you will not get any search traffic. And without search traffic to your website you will not make any money.
